the South Shores property owners. The arts and crafts fair shall be
<br /> conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 1995, in the same area as the festival, from 9
<br /> A.M. to 6 P.M. on July 3 and 4; and from 12 P.M. to 6 P.M. on July 2. The
<br /> fair will include displays and live music. The permittee is requesting that the
<br /> streets for the arts and craft fair be closed on July 2 and July 4. On Monday,
<br /> July 3, the arts and crafts fair will be confined to the sidewalk. It shall be the
<br /> responsibility of the permittee to ensure that on Monday, July 3, the arts and
<br /> crafts fair does not interfere with public right-of-ways. Additionally, permittee
<br /> will provide personnel to erect and take down barricades on July 2.

<br />6. Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property
<br /> damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, it Council, boards,
<br /> commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insureds, or
<br /> additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or
<br /> death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the
<br /> activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have
<br /> arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of Permittee in
<br /> connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and
<br /> $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for damage
<br /> or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use thereof, in the
<br /> amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form
<br /> satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten
<br /> (10) days prior to commencement of the event.

<br />7. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs
<br /> for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated
<br /> route, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the activities permitted
<br /> hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said
<br /> event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property,
<br /> including the public right of way in connection with the activity shall be
<br /> removed immediately following said event.

<br />8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and
<br /> applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of
<br /> said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in
<br /> addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this
<br /> event or any associated activity. Specifically, the Permittee or any other
<br /> individual event participants shall be responsible for obtaining necessary
<br /> State ABC permits and County Health permits. Permittee shall obtain all
<br /> necessary State, County and City permits pertaining to the fireworks display.
<br /> Any sale of alcoholic beverages shall cease not later than 5:00 P.M.
<br />
<br />9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and
<br /> save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br /> commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions,
<br /> damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br /> whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to
<br />
