Ward <br />Event Director, "RUN BY THE BAY" <br />38536 Knute Court <br />Fremont, CA 94536 <br /> <br />Re: Sequoia Hospital / Port of Redwood City-Sixth Annual "RUN BY THE BAY" & <br /> City Council Resolution #XXXXX <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Ward, <br /> <br />The City Council on XXXXX, 1995, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br />Sequoia Hospital and the Port of Redwood City to conduct the "RUN BY THE BAY" in <br />Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to Sequoia Hospital and the Port of Redwood City <br />(hereinafter called "Permittee') to conduct the "RUN BY THE BAY". This permit is <br />subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The "RUN BY THE BAY" shall be sponsored and conducted by the <br /> Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Seaport Blvd. and <br /> on the grounds of the Port of Redwood City. Please refer to the attached map, <br /> (EXHIBIT "A') <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The "RUN BY THE BAY" shall be conducted on Sunday, June 11, <br /> 1995 with a set-up time of 6:00 A.M. The event will begin at 8:15 A.M. and the <br /> event will end and the course will be completely cleared by 11:30 A.M. <br /> <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the "RUN BY THE BAY" taking place in the <br /> public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br /> designated by the Chief of Police. If the Chief of Police determines that the <br /> provision of Police Officers is required for the control of traffic in connection with <br /> said "RUN BY THE BAY", the permittee agrees to pay the costs of providing the <br /> <br /> <br />
