10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and save <br /> harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br /> employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to <br /> which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or <br /> arising out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or <br /> otherwise arising from or arising out of said race, or any activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />11. Additional Matters: Traffic control along the course will be the responsibility of the <br /> Permittee. At all times there will be at least two adult volunteers at Seaport and <br /> Bloomquist, who will have responsibility of directing traffic at that intersection. <br /> <br /> Additional or further matters not herein described or contemplated in connection <br /> with the "RUN BY THE BAY" shall not be effectuated without the prior written <br /> consent of the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />12. Acceptance: This permit shall not be effective until fully executed by all parties <br /> hereto and accepted by Permittee, and returned to the City. <br /> <br /> Yours truly, <br /> <br /> Scott D.
