DES:djk n4/04/95 (101/39) <br /> DES:djk ._~/05/95R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 4/10/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12446 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE MUNICIPAL <br /> SERVICES CENTER REMODELING, DIRECTING RETURN OF BID <br /> SECURITY; APPROVING REVISED CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR SAID <br /> PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT <br /> FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12385 adopted January <br />16, 1995, this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the <br />Remodeling for New Offices, Toilets and Locker Rooms at the <br />Municipal Services Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, fifteen bids <br />were received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br />(including the apparent lowest responsible bid) either had <br />irregularities or exceeded the amount estimated for the Project; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br />exercise its reserved right to reject all bids, to approve the <br />revised contract documents and direct readvertisement for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. All bids received in response to advertisement for bids <br />made pursuant to Resolution No. 12385, adopted January 16, 1995, <br />for the Municipal Services Center Remodeling Project are, and <br />each of them hereby is, rejected, the City Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to return to each bidder the bid security <br /> <br /> <br />
