Pc 07-03 <br />A RESOLUTION F INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION F <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />F REDWOOD CITY TO AMEND THE STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN <br />F THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO CHANGE THE GENERAL PLAN <br />LAND USE DESIGNATIONS OF PROPERTIES TIES GENET ALLY LOCATED <br />WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN STREET PRECISE PLAN AREA T <br />"MIXED USE" <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on April 17, 2007, the Planning <br />Commission of the city of Redwood city (the "Commission") adopted the Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration for the North Mann street Precise Plan. <br />WHEREAS, EAS, irn pl m ntati n o f the North Hain Street Precise Plan requires the <br />amendment of the Strategic General Plan of the City of Redwood City ("General Plan" <br />land use designations of the North Mann Street Precise Plan Area, as shown o n the <br />attached Exhibit "A ", from "Commercial-Office Park" to "Mixed Use." <br />WHEREAS, EAS, section 18.61 of the Redwood City Municipal Code provides for the <br />adoption by the Planning Commission of a resolution of intention to amend the General <br />Plan. <br />WHEREAS, this Planning Commission, having considered the evidence received <br />at the public hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed amendments, desires to <br />refer to the city council consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the <br />manner proposed and referenced above. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED LED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />F THE CITY OF REDWOOD D CITY As FOLLOWS: <br />#. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby incorporated by <br />this reference as if fully sot forth in their entirety. <br />2. That the Planning Commission desires to refer to the city council consideration <br />of an amendment t the General Plan in the manner proposed and referenced <br />above in Exhibits "„ <br />3.
