AH:dj 1 1/08/89 (040/#41) <br />Or <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE MIDPENINSLA REGIONAL <br />OPEN SPACE DISTRICT" COVERING TAX INCREMENT FROM <br />AMENDMENT NC, 2 OF REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROTECT NO, 2 <br />THIS AGREEMENT is tade and entered into this day of <br />1989, Icy and between the Midpenins la Regional Open <br />Space District the "District ") and the Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of Redwood City the "Agency <br />10 RECITALS, The Agency and the District make this <br />Agreement in light of the following facts <br />a. Redevelopment Project No. 2 of the Redevelopment Agency <br />of the City of Redwood City was adapted in the year 1982 by <br />Ordinance No. 1862 of the City of Redwood City, and the same was <br />amended in 1985 by Ordinance No. 1911 of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br />The Agency is in the process of adopting the Second <br />Amendment of Redevelopment Pro ect No. 2 the "Second <br />Amendment"), two of the objectives of which are the expansion of <br />the project area and the increase of the maximum amount of Tax <br />Increment that can be distributed to the Agency in eonnIection <br />with Project No. 2. The Project Area of Redevelopment Project <br />No. 2 as it will exist after the adoption of the Second Amendment <br />is shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto,, with the territor <br />proposed to e added shown thereon. <br />C, The District is a taxing agency whose territory entirely <br />encompasses the proposed Total Project Area of Redevelopment <br />Project N# 2 <br />
