DES:djk n~/03/95 (093/39) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 3/13/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12430 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 12377 AWARDING <br /> CONTRACT FOR TELEPHONE VOICE UPGRADE EQUIPMENT; <br /> REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR SAID EQUIPMENT; <br /> APPROVING REVISED SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12377, adopted December <br />19, 1994, this Council accepted the bid of JWP Telecom, Inc. for <br />the telephone voice upgrade equipment purchase and installation <br />(the "Equipment"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to receipt of bids for the Equipment it <br />has been determined that the specifications therefor require <br />revision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br />exercise its reserved right to reject all bids for the Equipment <br />and to approve the revised specifications and direct <br /> <br />readvertisement thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Resolution No. 12377, entitled, "Resolution Accepting <br />Bid for Telephone Voice Upgrade Equipment; Authorizing Execution <br />of Agreement for the Purchase of and Installation of Said <br />Equipment (JWP Telecom, Inc.)", adopted December 19, 1994, <br />accepting bid of JWP Telecom, Inc. for the purchase and <br />installation of the Equipment is hereby rescinded and said bid, <br />together with all other bids for the Equipment are hereby <br />rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
