DES:djk n3/01/95 (113/34) <br /> 0 R I G I N A n 3/13/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12428 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br /> "RIDE-ON" LAWN MOWER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of one (1) "ride-on" lawn mower; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Turf and Industrial Equipment of Santa Clara, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Turf and Industrial Equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment for the sale <br />of one (1) "ride-on" lawn mower to the City of Redwood City in <br />the amount of Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Eight and 76/100 Dollars <br />($10,808.76) in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />February 27, 1995, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to <br />solicitation for bids without advertisement'for said equipment. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> Turf and Industrial Equipment is, and each of them are, hereby <br /> waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br /> approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br /> approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
