the Consultant's documents without written authorization by the Consultant, <br /> which shall not be unreasonably withheld, will be at the City's sole risk and <br /> without liability to the Consultant. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is understood <br /> that a portion of the Consultant's documents are for planning purposes and are <br /> intended to be used and reused by the City without any additional liability to the <br /> City. <br /> <br /> 8. SCHEDULE. Consultant shall generally adhere to the schedule set <br />forth in Exhibit "A" or as may be amended from time to time by the parties, as <br />evidenced by the approval and execution of a revised Exhibit "A," executed by <br />Consultant and the City Manager; provided, that City shall grant reasonable <br />extensions of time for the performance of such services occasioned by <br />governmental reviews of Consultant's work product or other unavoidable delays <br />occasioned by circumstances beyond Consultant's control; provided, further, that <br />such unavoidable delay shall not include strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, or <br />other labor disturbances conducted by, or on behalf of, Consultant's officers or <br />employees. <br /> <br /> Consultant acknowledges the importance to City of City's Project schedule <br />and agrees to put forth its best professional efforts to perform its services under <br />this Agreement in a manner consistent with that schedule. City understands, <br />however, that Consultant's performance shall be governed by sound traffic <br />engineering practices. <br /> <br /> 9. TERM; TERMINATION.
