8. option and Repurchase Period. If Peninsula Habitat decides to exercise its <br />Right to Repurchase the Property, it . shall, within fifteen (15 ) da y of receipt t of <br />p <br />the notice specified above, notify the owner in writing that it chooses to exercise <br />the option. Said notice to the owner shall be sent by Certified Mail, Return <br />Receipt Requested. If Peninsula Habitat exercises its Right to Repurchase, it <br />g p , <br />shall repurchase the Property within sixty (50) days of the date it sends to owner <br />notice of exercise of its option to purchase. Peninsula Habitat may, instead of <br />purchasing the Property itself, assign its right to purchase the Property to a <br />person or entity of its choosing. If Peninsula Habitat elects not to exercise its <br />option to repurchase, it shall inform the owner and the City f Redwood City, ty, or <br />the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency in writing within sixty da Y s of Y <br />receipt of the notice specified above, and thereafter, the City of Redwood Cit <br />shall have the right and option to exercise the option for an additional sixty y <br />days after receipt of such notice from Peninsula Habitat. <br />9. Effect of Failure to Record waiver. If neither Peninsula Habitat nor the City f <br />Y <br />Redwood City, or the Redwood City Redevelopment Ag ency elects to exercise <br />the Right of Repurchase with respect to the Property, Peninsula Habitat shall <br />record, and deliver to owner, a notice of waiver, within sixty ( 60) d after <br />� } s a <br />y <br />receipt of the Transfer Notice from owner, in the official Records of San Mateo <br />County stating that both Peninsula Habitat and the City f Redwood City, the <br />Y Y� <br />Redwood City Redevelopment Agency have waived its resp ective Right of <br />p g <br />Repurchase; provided however, that, any subsequent urchaser of the Prop <br />p p Y <br />from the owner shall be subject to this Right of Repurchase during he term <br />9 <br />hereof. Such waiver shall not constitute a waiver for an other future Transfer of <br />. i Y <br />the Property, including, but not l to, any future sale of the Property. If the <br />. iRight <br />Notice of Waiver s not recorded it shall be presumed that said of <br />Repurchase has not been waived. <br />10. Resale by Peninsula Habitat or the City of Redwood City, or the Redwood <br />City Redevelopment Agency. If either Peninsula Habitat or the Ci ty of Redwood <br />City, or the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency exercises the R of <br />Repurchase, Peninsula Habitat or <br />. Y � <br />the City of Redwood City, or the Redwood Ci <br />tv <br />- Redevelopment Agency shall again sell or lease the Property to an Eligible <br />p Y 0 <br />Household selected by Peninsula Habitat. The transfer price established b <br />Peninsula Habitat or the City of Redwood City, or the Redwood City <br />Redevelopment Agency for such subsequent transfer will be the Eli ible sales <br />a 0 <br />Price when Peninsula Habitat or the City of Redwood City, or the Redwood Cit <br />y <br />Redevelopment Agency exercises its Right of Repurchase and acq uires the <br />p q <br />Property.
