The core cost of the RWC 2020 infrastructure has been stable for <br /> the past four years. <br /> Fundraising Plan <br /> The fundraising plan should give a sense of how the organization expects to ensure that the project <br /> and/or organizadon will have the resources necessary to succeed. Please briefly ouUine your plan to <br /> sustain yoor efforfs over the ne� one to three yeais. (2,200 characters) <br /> We have secured funding in the amount of $I5,000 from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for [his <br /> fiscal year to provide some coordination support to carry out our initiative start up ac[ivi[ies such as <br /> coordinating our S[eering Committee and conducting initial fows groups for the "Redwood Ciry Together" <br /> Initiative. We are also seeking founda[ion and partner agency support for products and supplies to provide <br /> our slaff and volun[eers [he resources they need [o carry out their work effectively. We have a wide network <br /> of partners who con[ribute resources in-kind, such as use of space (all [he Ciry's public meeting rooms, <br /> organizational gyms, school facilities) as well as supplies and equipment as they are able. We have received <br /> some financial support from [he Grove Foundation to support civic engagement activities in our community <br /> relating to increasing access of public benefits to immigrants [hat will be applied to this project and we <br /> expec[ to in [he fumre. We have been working closely with the Institute for Local Govemment QLG), who <br /> has received support from Silicon Valley Community Foundation to launch two Welcoming America <br /> affiliate sites, one of which will be Redwood City. ILG has provided valuable technical expertise and best <br /> practice in(orma[ion on immigrant integration and civic engagement practices and has introduced us to [he <br /> Welcoming America model (which works to promote mutual respect and cooperation be[ween foreign-bom <br /> and U.S: bom Americans.) We have received some stan up funding ($4,000) from Welcoming America to <br /> help us begin our initial communications efforts (creating a name and elevator speech) for launching thb <br /> campaign but additional resources will be needeA to create a full communications plan and implemen[ it. <br /> Our Steering Committee will help enable the implemen[ation of this project, ensure its alignmen[ with RWC <br /> 2020's mission and goals, and work with RWC 20201eadership to sewre gran[s and contributions for [his <br /> work to con[inue. <br /> Personncl <br /> The number of staff in this section should correspond to the salary expense indicated in the expense <br /> budget. <br /> Ftill time personnel: enter the number of full time staff.
