6.1.G. - Page 28 <br /> D. Additional Insura�ice Provisions <br /> l. Upon tlie Effective Date of the Easement Agreement Grantee shall furiush PG&E <br /> with two (2) sets of certificates of insurance including required endorseinents. <br /> 2. Documentation shall state that coverage shall not be canceled except after thirty <br /> (30) days prior written notice has been given to PG&E. <br /> 3. The documents must be signed by a person authorized by that insurer to bind <br /> coverage on its behalf and subinitted to: <br /> Pacific Gas and Electric Company Pacific Gas and Electric Company <br /> Insurance Department - B24H 111 Almaden Boulevard, Room 814 <br /> Post Office Box 770000 San Jose, CA 95113 <br /> San Franciscq California 94177 Attentioi7: Land Agent <br /> 4. Upon request, Gra�7tee shall fiirnish PG&E evidence of insurance for its agents or <br /> contractors. <br /> 5. PG&E inay inspect the original policies or require complete certified copies at any <br /> time. <br /> 6. Grantee shall have the right under this Agreement to self-insure for any required <br /> insurance, provided that Grantee shall be liable to PG&E for the full equivalent of <br /> insurance coverage which would have been available to PG&E if the applicable <br /> insurance policies had been obtained by Grantee from a third party insurer, in full <br /> compliance with the provisions of this Exhibit C, and shall pay on behalf of or <br /> indenulify PG&E for all amounts which would have been payable by the tlurd party <br /> insurer. li1 addition, Grantee shall act with the same promptness and subject to the <br /> san�e standards of good faith as would apply to a tlurd party insurance company. In <br /> the event that Grantee elects to self-insure with respect to any of the insurance <br /> requireinents required under this Agreeinent, on or before the Effective Date a�7d <br /> upon written request by PG&E, within thirty (30) days of the commencement of <br /> each year thereafter, Grantee shall submit to PG&E a certificate of self-insurance <br /> signed by a duly authorized representative of Grantee, such certificate evidencing <br /> that Grantee's self-insurance progranl is in full force and effect and in compliance <br /> with and subject to all the terms, agreements, covenants, conditioi7s and provisions <br /> of tlus Agreement. <br /> Page 24 of 24 <br />
