DES:djk 07/13/95 (078/39) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12420 3/6/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A LASER CHECK <br /> PRINTING SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of a check printing system to the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Standard Register Company of Pleasanton, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Standard Register Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Standard Register Company for the sale of a <br />laser check printing system (consisting of a printer and <br />software) to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Twelve <br />Thousand Five Hundred Twelve and No/100 Dollars ($12,512.00) in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated February 3, 1995, is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids <br />without advertisement for said purchase. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Standard Register Company is, and each of them are, hereby <br />waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br />approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
