ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> SOILS INVESTIGATION - EL CAMINO REAL AREA <br /> (HARDING ESE) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~.~ day of <br /> ~?-- 2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city ar~l/I -municipa, corporation of the State of California ("City"), and HARDING ESE, of <br />Oakland, California ("Consultant"), and <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, City requires soils investigation in the vicinity of El Camino Real in <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, City requires professional consulting; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform professional <br />consulting services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
