31. Applicant shall pay water and sewer capital facilities fees and <br /> installation fees to be determined by the City, based upon the size and layout of <br /> the services to the praject. <br /> 32. An appraved automatic fire sprinkler system shall be installed in all <br /> new Group R-3 occupancy dwellings. (Ordinance 2361 and IRC P29Q4.1.1) <br /> 33. Fire apparatus access roads shall be designed and maintained to <br /> support the imposed loads of fire apparatus [ASSHTO Standard H20] and shall <br /> be surfaced to provide all-weather driving capabilities. (IFC 503.2.3) The private <br /> roadway is considered a fire apparatus access road and is required. <br /> 34. Fire apparatus access roads shall have an unobsfructed width of <br /> not less than 20 feet, exclusive of shoulders, and an unobstructed vertical <br /> clearance of not less than 13 fieet 6 inches. (IFC 503.2.1 } <br /> 35. All designated fire lanes shafl be marked in accordanee with <br /> Section 22500.1 af the Califiornia Vehicle Code. <br /> 36. The required fire flow at the minimum residual pressure of 20 psi <br /> shall be required. (Title 24, Part 9, CCR, Appendix B) <br /> 37. The minimum number of fire hydrants and spacing requirements <br /> available to the building shall not be less than that listed in California Fire Code <br /> Appendix C. <br /> 38. Single- or multiple-station smoke alarms shall be installed and <br /> maintained in Group R-3 regardless of the occupant laad at all of the following <br /> locations: <br /> a. In each sleeping ra�rn. <br /> b. Outside each separate sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the bedrooms. <br /> c. (3n each additionaf story of the dwelling unit, including <br /> basements and at#ics. <br /> When more than one smoke alarm is required to be installed within an <br /> individual dwelling unit the alarm devices shail be interconnected in such a <br /> manner that the actuatian of one alarm wil! activate all of the alarms in the <br /> individua! unit. (IRC R314.1) <br /> 39.
