6.1.A. - Page 33 <br /> -Vice Mayor Gee reported on attending an event by the San Mateo County Mayor's <br /> Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities and how Redwood City received <br /> a certificate of appreciation for their good work in hiring. <br /> -Council Member Pierce attended the ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments <br /> policy makers) Regional Housing taskforce meeting and she became familiarized with <br /> the process. She will also be forwarding information to Council as it comes in. <br /> -Council Member Foust noted a letter was sent on the MOU (Memorandum of <br /> Understanding) to the MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) between MTC <br /> and other funding organizations. It is regarding the early investment for the <br /> electrification of CalTrain. She noted that the MOU was unanimously adopted. She <br /> further noted an upcoming meeting. <br /> Mayor Aguirre thanked her colleagues for all their work on the various committees they <br /> serve on, and she thanked Council Member Foust for her earlier remarks. <br /> C.
