0 R I G I N A L 12/19/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12384 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF THE REDWOOD CITY ALMANAC FOR OFFICIAL <br /> ADVERTISING; DESIGNATING SAID NEWSPAPER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br />proposals were solicited from all newspapers of general circulation in the City for the publication of all <br />matters of the City required to be published; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Almanac, which has been adjudicated as a newspaper of general <br />circulation and which has its principal office of publication located in the City, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder responding to said solicitation for bids; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City Almanac as the official newspaper of <br />the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The proposal of the Redwood City Almanac submitted in response to the advertisement for bids <br /> for designation as thc official newspaper of the City is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared the lowest responsible bidder for said designation; <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the bid of said Redwood City Almanac are hereby waived; <br /> <br /> 3. The Redwod City Almanac is hereby designated as the official newspaper of the City of <br /> Redwood City; <br /> <br /> 4. Any and all other bids for official advertising for the City of Redwood City are hereby rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
