DES:djk ~/29/94 (051/39) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 12/19/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I 0 N N O. 12378 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE HAZARD <br /> ELIMINATION SAFETY PROJECT - JEFFERSON/MIDDLEFIELD, <br /> JEFFERSON/MARSHALL, VETERANS/BREWSTER - TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br /> MODIFICATIONS, DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY; <br /> APPROVING REVISED CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PROJECT; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12100 adopted November <br />15, 1993, this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the <br />Hazard Elimination Safety Project - Jefferson/Middlefield, <br />Jefferson/Marshall, Veterans/Brewster - Traffic Signal <br />Modifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br />(including the apparent lowest responsible bid) exceed the funds <br />available for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br />exercise its reserved right to reject all bids, to approve the <br />revised contract documents and direct readvertisement for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. All bids received in response to advertisement for bids <br />made pursuant to Resolution No. 12100, adopted November 15, 1993, <br />for the Hazard Elimination Safety Project - Jefferson/ <br />Middlefield, Jefferson/Marshall, Veterans/Brewster - Traffic <br />Signal Modifications are, and each of them hereby is, rejected, <br /> <br /> <br />
