DES:d~ 11/22/94 (048/39) <br /> _ ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12368 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PRINTING SERVICES AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the Community Newsletter ("Update") printing <br />services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation five bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Waller Press of South San Francisco, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br />Waller Press; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Waller Press for printing services of the <br />Community Newsletter ("Update") to the City of Redwood City in <br />an amount not to exceed Twelve Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 <br />Dollars ($12,600.00) computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated July 5, 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in <br />response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said <br />services. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Waller Press is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the services <br />approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
