DES:djk ?a/25/94 (042/39) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 11/7/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12360 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWELVE (12) POLICE PATROL VEHICLES UNDER THE <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY <br /> BID #R-248 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Los Angeles County, bid 9R-248 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from Wondries <br />Chevrolet; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of Los Angeles County conform~ to <br />the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase twelve (12) police patrol vehicles from Wondries <br />Chevrolet pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of Los <br /> <br />Angeles County Bid #R-248; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of twelve (12) <br /> police patrol vehicles from Wondries Chevrolet in the total <br /> amount of Two Hundred Thirty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-one <br /> and 64/100 Dollars ($239,561.64) pursuant to the Cooperative <br /> <br /> <br />
