DES:djk ]n/10/94 (037/39) <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L -~10/24/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12356 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR MATERIALS TESTING AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> INSPECTION SERVICES RELATING TO THE RED MORTON <br /> COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br /> (SMITH-EMERY COMPANY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to construct a <br />new Red Morton Community Center in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br />City requires professional consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Smith-Emery Company of San Francisco, California <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br />expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled '!Agreement - Professional <br />Engineering Services - for Materials Testing and Construction <br />Inspection Services at the Red Morton Community Center" (form <br />dated 09/21/94), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California and Smith-Emery <br />Company, for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
