Exhibit "A" <br /> <br /> DRAFT <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Greenbaum <br />747 El Camino Real <br />Redwood City, CA 94083 <br /> <br />Re: House of Humor's "Month of Halloween" <br />Dear Mr. Greenbaum: <br /> <br />The City Council on XXX, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting The House <br />of Humor's "Month of Halloween" promotion in Redwood City, subject to and in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions herein. (Resolution #XXX) <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to The House of Humor to conduct the "Month of <br />Halloween" promotion. <br /> <br />This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The "Month of Halloween" promotion shall be sponsored and <br /> conducted by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be on Commercial Alley. The event <br /> will be confined to Commercial Alley, and will not interfere with the City Parking Lot <br /> adjacent to Commercial Alley. (Please refer to the attached map.) <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The "Month of Halloween" promotion shall be conducted on <br /> Saturday, October 1, 1994, from 12:30 PM until 4;30 PM. The alley will be <br /> completely cleared by 6 PM. <br /> <br />6. Event 0ontrol: Those portions of the "Month of Halloween" promotion taking place <br /> in the public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br /> designated by the Chief of Police, The permittee will provide employees to monitor <br /> and control the event. <br /> <br /> <br />
