-0 ~ i 0 i N A L -~ (8-29-94) R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12331 9/12/94 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE COUNCIL, INC., FAIR OAKS SENIOR CENTER WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., Fair Oaks Senior Center has been established for the principal purpose of providing programs that address the needs of the identified target area and has developed and implemented relevant programs focusing in the minority and low-income community of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., Fair Oaks Senior Center has requested financial assistance in order to conduct its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., Fair Oaks Senior Center the sum of FORTY-THOUSAND, SEVEN-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY DOLLARS ($40,770.00); and WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and authorize its execution; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement entitled, "AGREEMENT" (form dated 8-29-94), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., Fair Oaks Senior Center, a non-profit corporation of the State of California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and attest to, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
