- 0 R T G I lq A L - (8-29-94) RESOLUTION NO. 12325 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC. ROSENER HOUSE (ADULT DAY SUPPORT CENTER) WHEREAS, the Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. Rosener House-Adult Day Support Center has been established for the principal purpose of providing a gerontological services agency serving mid peninsula seniors; and WHEREAS, the Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. Rosener House-Adult Day Support Center has requested financial assistance in order to conduct its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to the Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. Rosener House-Adult Day Support Center the sum of THREE-THOUSAND, THREE-HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS ($3,310.00); and WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and authorize its execution; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement entitled, "AGREEMENT" (form dated 8-29-94), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and the Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. Rosener House-Adult Day Support Center, a non-profit corporation of the State of California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and attest to, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
