Proposed Two-year Capital Improvement Program Budget for Fiscal <br /> Years 2012-13 and 2013-14 <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Conduct a Study Session to review the proposed Capital Improvement <br /> Program (CIP) budget for fiscal years 2012-13 and 2013-14 and provide <br /> direction to staff. <br /> Mr. Bill Ekern, Director of Community Development, introduced the item and explained <br /> that the goal was to give the Council an idea of the long-term deliverables. He noted <br /> that there is not enough money to do all the things we need to do but Redwood City is in <br /> a good place. He said this is a strong city for the Capital Improvement Program and he <br /> shared his excitement about what is coming down the pipeline like the partnership with <br /> the YMCA. Mr. Peter Vorametsanti, City Engineer, took a five-year look at the Capital <br /> Improvement Program illustrating how much has been completed this year and will be <br /> accomplished (presentation on file). Mr. Ezell, Water Superintendent, explained water <br /> related projects and goals (presentation on file).
