ORIGINAL (8-29-94) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12313 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula has been established for <br />the principal purpose of providing recreational and educational programs for use in <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula has requested financial <br />assistance in order to conduct its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula the sum of EIGHT-THOUSAND, <br />THREE-HUNDRED DOLLARS ($8,300.00); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, <br />and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "AGREEMENT" (form dated 8-29-94), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and the <br />Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, a non-profit corporation of the State of <br />California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute, and attest to, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
