EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services both On-Site at the City of <br /> Redwood City offices and Off-Site as follows: <br /> Type of Service Off-Site On-Site <br /> � Fee Fee <br /> (Fire) Fire Plan Review Services including Fire Code and Building 75% of Plan $85.00/Hour <br /> Code fire and life-safet re ulations Review fee <br /> (Combo) Combination Building Plan Review Services (Combo), 75% of Plan $85.00/Hour <br /> including Building Code Structural & Non-Structural, Green Review fee <br /> Building Code, Energy Code, Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code, <br /> Electrical Code and Fire Code <br /> (Technician) Permit Technician Services, including Building Code N/A $65.00/Hour <br /> administrative and technical regulations and use and <br /> understanding of Trakit development management system by <br /> CRW <br /> All plan review services provided by the consultant shall include the initial plan review and all <br /> subsequent re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the consultant <br /> messengers or will be shipped to their main office by Fed Ex using the consultant account <br /> number. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review fee and no addition <br /> compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews shall be completed within 10-working days. Written plan review <br /> comments shall be delivered to the City in electronic format within 24-hours of completion of <br /> review. When final review is approved, Consultant shall deliver two final sets of approved <br /> plans with approval stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and <br /> approval. <br /> Staff <br /> Consultant shall utilize trained and qualified staff to provide services. Consultant shall not <br /> make staffing changes for On-Site staff without review and approval by the City. <br /> Office Hours and Meetinq Availabilitv <br /> Consultant staff should be available for On-Site plan review on Tuesday's and Wednesday's as <br /> requested to provide one stop plan review services. Plan revie�iv staff and Technicians will be <br /> on-site at other times by mutual agreement. <br /> Codes and Standards <br /> Consultant shall ensure that the services are performed in compliance with all local codes and <br /> ordinances, State Codes and Federal Codes and Standards, including the following: <br /> • 2010 California Building Code, Volumes 1 and 2 <br /> • 2010 California Residential Codes <br /> • 2010 California Green Building Code <br /> 1 <br />
