Exhibit "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> • 2010 Califomia Green Building Code <br /> • 2010 Califomia Green Building Code <br /> • 2008 California Energy Code <br /> • 2010 Califomia Plumbing Code <br /> • 2010 California Fire Code <br /> • National Fire Codes as published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); as <br /> adopted and referenced by the State of California <br /> • City adopted ordinances and amendments relative to building and municipal codes, <br /> including project Conditions of Approval from other City departments, divisions, <br /> regulating agencies, and jurisdictions <br /> Code Enforcement Services: <br /> Consultant will provide up to two (2) full time Code Enforcement Officers to serve the City for <br /> up to 40 hours per week each. The Officers will be allocated as necessary to meet the needs of <br /> the City. Initially the Lead Code Enforcement Officer will conduct a full review of the existing <br /> code enforcement database. <br /> The Code Enforcement Officers will work to identify code violations and engage stakeholders <br /> and responsible parties to correct code violations consistent with municipal and state codes <br /> tailored to the specific needs of the City. Codes and ordinances enforced include: <br /> • Zoning codes <br /> • Building codes <br /> • Housing codes <br /> • Public nuisance codes <br /> • State health &safety codes <br /> The Code Enforcement Officers are fully trained, licensed and certified through the California <br /> Association of Code Enforcement Officers (CACEO) and the National Environmental Health <br /> Association (NEHA) for any code enforcement challenge presented. The Code Enforcement <br /> Officers have extensive experience and capabilities in the following key areas: <br /> • Code enforcement program review and analysis <br /> • Code enforcement inspections <br /> • Preparing administrative remedies including administrative citations <br /> • Conducting administrative hearings <br /> • Preparing program documentation and staff reports as well as committee and City <br /> Council presentations <br /> • Testifying on behalf of clients in criminal court <br /> • License and permit application review and processing <br /> • Coordination of activities with multiple departments including Building, Planning, <br /> Community Development, Police and City Attorneys <br /> REV:06-20-14 VR <br /> ATTY/AGR/2014/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.4 CSG CONSULTANTS,INC. <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
