Exhibit "A" <br /> , <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEES <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services as follows: <br /> T e of Service Fee <br /> (Structural) Structural Plan Review Services including Building Code 50% of Plan <br /> structural re ulations Review fee <br /> (Combo) Combination Building Plan Review Services (Combo), including 75% of Plan <br /> Building Code Structural & Non-Structural, Green Building Code, Energy Review fee <br /> Code, Plumbin Code, Mechanical Code, Electrical Code and Fire Code <br /> (Hourly Combo) Combo Review of Preliminary Plans, Project Revisions or $125.00 per <br /> Peer Review of Projects as Directed Hour <br /> Field Inspection Services, including inspections for compliance to applicable $75.00 per <br /> State of California Building, Mechancial, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire codes Hour <br /> as applicable <br /> Permitting Services, including permit processing to assist architects, $55.00 per <br /> contractors and the public and calculating fees Hour <br /> All % of Plan Review services provided by the consultant shall include the initial plan review and <br /> all subsequent re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the consultant <br /> messengers or will be shipped to their main office by Fed Ex using the consultant account <br /> number. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review fee and no addition <br /> compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews shall be completed within 10-working days. Written plan review comments <br /> shall be delivered to the City in electronic format within 24-hours of completion of review. When <br /> final review is approved, Consultant shall deliver two final sets of approved plans with approval <br /> stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and approval. <br /> Consultant will perForm building and public works inspection services as directed by the City of <br /> Redwood City Chief Building official or City Building and Safety Division designee. These services <br /> will include review of all approved plans, specifications and documents, review and respond to all <br /> inspection requests and reports, attend mandatory meetings, including safety training and project <br /> management perform inspections for compliance to applicable State of California Building, <br /> Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, as well as State energy efficiency and accessibility <br /> standards as amended by the City of Redwood City. ConsultanYs services may include a State of <br /> California registered Fire Protection Engineer, to complete all Fire Code inspection services <br /> requested by the City, or CASp certified inspections as needed <br /> Consultant will provide permit processing services to assist architects, contractors and the public <br /> in accepting, processing and tracking applications for building permits, calculating and collecting <br /> permit fees, and providing general Plan and Zoning information.
