DES :djk 0e/24/94 (021/39) <br /> ~- 0 R I G I N A L -- 8/29/94 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I O N N O. 12303 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL LEGAL SERVICES FOR THE REDWOOD <br /> SHORES LEVEE MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br /> <br /> (WASHBURN, BRISCOE & McCARTHY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires special legal <br />services to obtain the various permits necessary for the Redwood <br />Shores Levee Maintenance Project (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the firm of Washburn, Briscoe & McCarthy represent <br />that they possess the experience and are qualified to perform the <br /> <br />aforesaid special services for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Special Legal <br />Services - Redwood Shores Levee Maintenance Project" (form dated <br />08/22/94), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and Washburn, Briscoe & <br />McCarthy, a professional corporation, of San Francisco, <br />California, for the above-mentioned services, a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br />respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
