ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services <br /> <br /> Aids Case Management Program <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of (~~ , <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services, a <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides case management and services for HIV positive <br />residents; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2003, and ending June 30, 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars <br />($7,500). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Seven Thousand, Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($7,500) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, <br />solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />9/11/03 <br /> <br /> <br />
