EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Professional Services <br /> The Consultant will provide the City with an interactive software application to assist in data and <br /> statistical analysis. Based on the data relating to the City's deployment, staffing models, shift <br /> schedule, station locations, response matrices, et. al. the software application will populate <br /> reports as well as charts and graphs for data analysis. Consultant will mai�tain and update the <br /> software application regularly to ensure current data. <br /> Proiect Imolementation <br /> Consultant will perform services related to the development of summary statistics describing the <br /> performance of the Redwood City and the San Carlos Fire Departments ("Fire DepartmenY'). <br /> Consultant will meet with the Fire Chief and other command staff to gain a comprehensive <br /> understanding of the DepartmenYs staffing model, shift schedule, station locations, response <br /> matrices, et al. <br /> Consultant will pull and analyze data from the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, from the <br /> Records Management System (RMS) and from any soflware or database that contains relevant <br /> data. <br /> Consultant will identify the CAD and RMS and create a bridge or path for data to read directly <br /> from CAD and RMS into a program such as Excel or Access. <br /> Consultant will provide unique user names and passwords for designated personnel. Consultant <br /> will also provide the appropriate amount of training on how to navigate the application. <br /> Implementation shall not exceed 60 days from the date of this agreement. <br /> Monthlv Maintenance <br /> Once the web-based application is working properly with the existing functionality and any new <br /> functionality agreed to by the parties as part of the start-up is also working (each to the <br /> satisfaction of the Fire Department, Consuttant will begin the monthly maintenance. <br /> Each calendar month Consultant wili obtain the appropriate CAD, RMS, and/or PCR information <br /> for analysis, load the data into the online database and make it available to the Fire Department. <br /> Compensation <br /> A onetime fee in the amount of$9,500 for implementation of the application will be due 30 days <br /> from the execution of the agreement. Upon implementation of the application to the satisfaction <br /> of the Fire Department, monthly fees of $900 for the monthly maintenance will be billed <br /> quarterly at the end of each calendar quarter. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012.019IFIRESTATS Page 9 of 9 <br /> REV:04-11-12 VR <br />
