M ._ . �.�...V �.Y . _.i . :�_�.�_ �� ._ �., __ <br /> DUPLICATE ORIGINAL <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT <br /> Finance and IT Services <br /> Silicon Valley Clean Water <br /> (Formerly South Bayside System Authority) <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the 1 day of July, 2014, <br /> extending the agreement dated June 8, 2012 ("Agreement") by and between the City of <br /> Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), <br /> and Silicon Valley Clean Water ("SVCW") (formerly South Bayside System Authority <br /> ("SBSA") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. On June 8, 2012, the Parties executed an Agreement for Professional <br /> Finance and IT Services for SBSA; and <br /> B. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement for a period of one year; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. The Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is hereby <br /> extended for a period of one year ending on June 30, 2015. <br /> 2. Compensation for Scope of Services ("Services") Listed in Exhibit A to <br /> Agreement: the total fee payable for the Services to be performed during the term of <br /> this agreement will be One Hundred Twenty Three Thousand and Five Dollars <br /> ($123,005). <br /> a. Citv's Financial Services: SVCW shall pay the City Seventy Three <br /> Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($73,315) for Financial <br /> Services. This rate is increased by the percentage of increase of the <br /> Consumer Price Index ("CPI") for all Urban Consumers, Pacific Cities, and <br /> United States Cities Average for San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, All <br /> Items published by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of <br /> Labor Statistics for the year ending February 28 immediately preceding <br /> the Adjustment Date as compared with the CPI for the immediately prior <br /> year Ending February. <br /> b. Citv's Information Technoloav Services� SVCW shall pay the City for <br /> information technology services on an hourly basis at the rate of One <br /> Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per Hour (the "IT Base Rate") for <br /> the first 350 hours of services furnished during Fiscal Year 2014-15, and <br /> at the IT Base Rate plus an amount equal to eighteen percent (18%) <br /> thereof for each hour of services furnished in excess of 350 hours. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2014/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.15VCW—FIN&IT SERVICES <br /> REV:06-05-4 MLG <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
