EXHIBIT "A" PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Consultant shall prepare for the City, topographic survey base maps as outlined in this agreement. Base maps will be utilized during the design stage of upcoming sanitary sewer replacement project to determine all necessary physical features within the project limits and the project scope as listed below. SCOPE OF WORK: Consultant shall prepare topographic survey base maps to include the following: 1. All physical features within the project area. Physical features shall include those listed below as well as any other man made improvements, excluding residential irrigation. Survey shall include grade breaks. a. Sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe diam eters, sewer lateral cleanouts and sewer lines. b. Storm drain manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe diameters, drain inlets bottom, drain inlets pipe inverts, catch basin grate elevations and storm drain lines. c. Water valve boxes, meter boxes, anode boxes, fire hydrants and water lines. d. Gas valve boxes and gas I ines. e. Traffic signal boxes, street light boxes, utility vaults, electrical poles, loop detectors, traffic sign posts, street lights, and electrical lines. f. Cable N boxes, cable TV lines, telephone poles, telephone lines and overhead lines. g. Street monuments. h. Tax assessors lot lines, property lines or lot boundaries, right-of-way lines and house addresses(approximate from City Block Book). i. Curb & gutter, sidewalks, driveways, trees with minimum diameter of 6 inches at breast height within the planting stri p and street facing fences within the right of way. 2. Consultant's topographic base maps shall be completed in AUTOCAD version 2009 capable of plotting at scale of 1:20". Text information and other entities shall be readable at this scale when plotted on a plan and profile sheet. Final plotted text height shal I be 0.1". 3. Consultant shall set street center line stations at every 50 feet on tangent and 25 feet stations on curves. Survey station shall be at the center of the street at 50 feet intervals, beginning at centerline of street intersections or manholes unless otherwise noted on the ATTY/AG R/2012.063/SAN D I S REV:05-18-12 VR Page 10 of 13
