DES:djk 08/01/94 (018/34) <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L -- 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12293 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER FOR <br /> THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY <br /> MEDIATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center ("PCRC"), a <br />non-profit corporation of the State of California, presently <br />operates the Redwood City Community Mediation Program, a <br />community boards program, the purpose of which is to improve <br />neighborhood and community communication, in furtherance of the <br />public order, health and welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PCRC represents that it is qualified and <br />experienced to perform the aforesaid conflict resolution services <br /> <br />required for said Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for the Provision <br />of Community Mediation Services", by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />and Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, for the performance of <br />the above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br />and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
