Exhibit "A" <br /> <br /> Letter Permit <br /> DRAFT <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Valentine <br />Fitness Director <br />Pacific Athletic Club <br />200 Redwood Shores Parkway <br />Redwood City, CA 94065 <br /> <br />Re: Pacific Athletic Club's "Third Annual Turkey Trot" <br />Dear Mr. Valentine: <br /> <br />The City Council on XXX 1994, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the <br />Pacific Athletic Club's "Third Annual Turkey Trot" in Redwood City, subject to and in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to the Pacific Athletic Club (hereinafter called <br />"Permittee") to conduct the "Third Annual Turkey Trot". <br /> <br />This permit is subject to the following terms and conditionS: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The "Third Annual Turkey Trot" shall be sponsored and conducted <br /> by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be in Redwood Shores. The course <br /> will consist of Redwood Shores Parkway, Shell Parkway, Marine Parkway, and Twin <br /> Dolphin Drive. See attached map. <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The "Third Annual Turkey Trot" shall be conducted on Sunday, <br /> November 20, 1994, from 7:00 A.M. until noon, including setup and cleanup. The <br /> course will be completely cleared by Noon. <br /> <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the "Third Annual Turkey Trot" taking place in <br /> the public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br /> designated by the Chief of Police. The permittee will provide volunteers to monitor <br /> and control the course, and to staff water and first-aid stations. <br /> <br /> <br />
