DES:d~k 08/04/94 (008/39) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I O N N O. 12255 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC UTILITY <br /> EASEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br /> STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; <br /> SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br /> INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; <br /> AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED <br /> VACATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, that certain public utility easement described in <br />Exhibit "A" and depicted on Exhibit "B" hereof, attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein, being a portion <br />located within Lot 6 Block 2 of Valota Manor Subdivision in the <br />City of Redwood City, is not needed for present or prospective <br />public utility purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br />vacate said easement pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br />Division 9 (commencing with §8300) of the Streets and Highways <br />Code; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br />that certain public utility easement described in Exhibit A and <br />depicted on Exhibit B, being a portion located within Lot 6 Block <br />2 of Valota Manor Subdivision in the City of Redwood City, and <br />hereby elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the <br />provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the <br />Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Notice is hereby given that Monday, September 12, 1994, <br />at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, <br /> <br /> <br />
