DES:djk 07/27/94 (004/39) <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L -. 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I 0 N N O. 12269 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THIRD <br /> AMENDMENT TO JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> ESTABLISHING THE INTERCITY TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM <br /> MANAGEMENT (TSM) AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11050 adopted June 5, <br />1989, by this Council, the City of Redwood City executed that <br />certain agreement entitled "Joint Powers Agreement Establishing <br />the Intercity Transportation System Management (TSM) Authority" <br />(the "TSM Agreement"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the TSM Agreement implements this City's <br />Transportation System Management Program established pursuant to <br />Ordinance No. 1991, adopted April 3, 1989, by this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11399 adopted October 1, <br />1990, by this Council, the City of Redwood City entered into a <br />First Amendment to the TSM Agreement providing for the City of <br />Burlingame to become a member agency pursuant to the Joint <br />Exercise of Powers Act (Government Code Section 6500 et seq.) and <br />paragraph 15 of the TSM Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11720 adopted April 13, <br />1992, by this Council, the City of Redwood City entered into a <br />Second Amendment adding paragraph 16 to the TSM Agreement <br />providing for the administration of a "Transportation System <br />Management Program" for the County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br />Council, a Third Amendment amending paragraphs 4, 6 and 8 and <br />deleting paragraph 5 to the TSM Agreement, which amendment has <br />been approved by the Board of Directors of the Intercity <br />Transportation Management Authority with the recommendation that <br /> <br /> <br />
