<br /> 2. Course Control: Those portions of the event taking place in the public ric�f�t-o#-w�ry
<br /> shall occur in a manner and shail be limited to that area designated by the Chief oi Pofice.
<br /> Shouid the Chief of Palice determine fhat the provision of po3ice afPicers is required for the
<br /> controf of traf€ic in connection with said event, the Aermittee agrees fa reimburse the city
<br /> for costs associaied with the svent. Additionafly, the permittee is required to pravide
<br /> security at ihe event meeting wifh fhe approval ofi#he Chief of Pofice.
<br /> 3. lnsuranc�: The Permittee shall provide to the City of Redwood City c�mmercial c�enera!
<br /> iiat�ility insurance coverage far any and all aciivifies permitted hereunder in#he amoun#of
<br /> �1,00�,000 per occurrence and$2,OQ0,000 aggregate, naming the City of Redwood Gity,
<br /> its City Councll, cornrr►issians, committees, boards, of(icers, emplayees, and ayents
<br /> jcollecfively, the"Ci#y-insureds")as insureds ar additianal insureds, If the City-insureds
<br /> are covered as addifional insureds, the Permitkee shall provide endorsernerts to the policy
<br /> which shaif provide fhat: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance wifh respect to#he
<br /> Gity-insureds, (ii) apply se�arately to eacii insured �g�inst whon�claim is m�de ar�suit is
<br /> brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's liabifity�cross Iiak�ility
<br /> enciorsement), and (iii} name ilze Cify-insureds as addifional insureds. The Permittee shall
<br /> furnish evidence af sucli insurance caverage in a form satisfactory to the city at least ten
<br /> (10)days prior to commencement of ihe svent. The Risk Manager, in hislher sole

<br /> 4. Camp{lance With Laws: The Permities sha11 comply with all appropriate anci app(ic�bls
<br /> rules, regulations, and laws in cannection with#he conr�ucting of said event, or any
<br /> activities associated there�rdith. This permit shall be in addifion to all other permits ihat are
<br /> ar tnay be required for conducting the evsnt or any associated activity.
<br /> 5. Flald Ha�•mless; The Permittes shail assume ihe clefense af and indemnify and save
<br /> harmless the City of Redwood Cify, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions,
<br /> employees, and ac�ents from a[I sults, actions, da�nages, or claims#a whieh the city may
<br /> be subjected of any kind or nature vrnatsoever, �esulEing from, caused by, or arising out of
<br /> the per�ormance or failure to perfarm of I'ermittee hereunder, ar ofherwise arising from or
<br /> arising aut af said event ar any activifies herein permitted.
<br /> 6. Reimburse�nent af Gity's Costs; Permftfee agrees fo pay the hourly cost recovery rate
<br /> of a8 City �ersonnel who are required by the City to work over#ime hours ar ofher than
<br /> rec�ular shifts, or perfarm duties during or as a result of such event or encroachmerrf. This
<br /> includes, but is not limited to, the cost ot a designafed Ci(y st�ff person to be present c�nsite
<br /> during fhe d�Eration of the event or encroachment.
<br /> 7, Clamac�e to Pub(ic Property: The Permittee shal! reimburse the city ior the costs for
<br /> any damages ta city owned praperty 1R the vicinity of the designated site and route,
<br /> caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permiiked hereunder, or the acfs, or '
