6.3.A. - Page 3 <br /> ATTACHMENT1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS <br /> LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII B of the Constitution of the State of California <br /> places various limitations on the City's powers of appropriation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Division 9 (commencing with Section 7900) of the <br /> Government Code implements said Article XIII B and requires that each local <br /> jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following <br /> year; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Director has calculated the appropriations limit <br /> for Fiscal Year 2012-13 which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> This Council does hereby establish as the appropriations limit for Fiscal <br /> Year 2012-13, the amount of $515,216,485, calculated in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Division 9 (commencing with Section 7900) of the California <br /> Government Code. <br /> * * * <br /> ATTY/RES0.2239/FY 2012-13 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT <br /> REV:05-15-12 HWS <br />
