One C�t�y One Vote. Each member city has a zig�t to cast one vote on matters pertaining to Leag�e po�icy. 2. Desinnafi��a City V�ting Representative. Prior to #he Annual Conference, each city cQUncil may designate a voting deie�ate and up to two alternates; t�zese individuals are identified on the Voting Delegate Foim provided to the League Credentials Cominittee. 3. Regestering with t�e Credentials Com�nittee. The voting dele�ate, or alternates, may pick up the city's votin� card at the Vating Delegate Desk in the conferenee registratian area. Voting delegates and altemates must sign in at the Voting Delegate Desk. Here they �vill receive a special sticker on their name badge and thus be admitted to the voting area at the Busin�ss Meeting. 4. Sxgning Initiated Reso�ntion Peti#ions. Only those individuals who a�'e voting delegates (ar alternates), and wha have pick�d up tl�eir ciry's voting card by providing a signature to the Credentials Committee at the Voting Delegate Desk, �nay sign petitions to initiate a resolution. S. Voting. To cast the city's vote, a city official must have in�is or her possession the city's �o�ing card and be r�gistered with the Credentials Commit�ee. The vating card may be transfeixed freely between the votinb deiegate and alternates, but may not be�ransferred to another city official who is neither a voting delegate or altez-nate. 6. Vating Area at Susin�ss 1V�eeting. At the B�siness RZeeting, indi�iduals wrth a votinb card will sit in a designated area. Admission will be limited to those individuals with a special sticker on their name badge identifying them as a votin� delegate or alternat�. 7, ResoEving Dispntes. In case of dispute,the Credentials Committee wilI determine the vaIidity of signatures on petitioned resolutions and the right of a ciry official to vote at the Business Meeting.
