One C�t�y One Vote. Each member city has a zig�t to cast one vote on matters pertaining to <br /> Leag�e po�icy. <br /> 2. Desinnafi��a City V�ting Representative. Prior to #he Annual Conference, each city <br /> cQUncil may designate a voting deie�ate and up to two alternates; t�zese individuals are <br /> identified on the Voting Delegate Foim provided to the League Credentials Cominittee. <br /> 3. Regestering with t�e Credentials Com�nittee. The voting dele�ate, or alternates, may <br /> pick up the city's votin� card at the Vating Delegate Desk in the conferenee registratian <br /> area. Voting delegates and altemates must sign in at the Voting Delegate Desk. Here they <br /> �vill receive a special sticker on their name badge and thus be admitted to the voting area at <br /> the Busin�ss Meeting. <br /> 4. Sxgning Initiated Reso�ntion Peti#ions. Only those individuals who a�'e voting delegates <br /> (ar alternates), and wha have pick�d up tl�eir ciry's voting card by providing a signature to <br /> the Credentials Committee at the Voting Delegate Desk, �nay sign petitions to initiate a <br /> resolution. <br /> S. Voting. To cast the city's vote, a city official must have in�is or her possession the city's <br /> �o�ing card and be r�gistered with the Credentials Commit�ee. The vating card may be <br /> transfeixed freely between the votinb deiegate and alternates, but may not be�ransferred to <br /> another city official who is neither a voting delegate or altez-nate. <br /> 6. Vating Area at Susin�ss 1V�eeting. At the B�siness RZeeting, indi�iduals wrth a votinb card <br /> will sit in a designated area. Admission will be limited to those individuals with a special <br /> sticker on their name badge identifying them as a votin� delegate or alternat�. <br /> 7, ResoEving Dispntes. In case of dispute,the Credentials Committee wilI determine the <br /> vaIidity of signatures on petitioned resolutions and the right of a ciry official to vote at the <br /> Business Meeting. <br />
