DES:dj~ 07/05/94 (108/37) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent of II-WARN and the agencies which <br />are signatories to said Omnibus Mutual Aid Agreement, annually to <br />renew said agreement with such revisions as may be appropriate <br />and annually to publish a list of all water agencies <br />participating in said mutual aid program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforementioned Mutual Aid Agreement conforms to <br />the California Emergency Services Act (Title 2, Division 1, <br /> <br />Chapter 7 [§8550 et seq. ] of the Government Code and, <br /> <br />specifically, Article 14 [§8630 et seq.] thereof); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled, "II-WARN Omnibus <br />Mutual Aid Agreement", dated as of July 1, 1994, in the form of <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2. Resolution No. 12148 entitled, "Resolution Approving <br />and Authorizing Execution of Water Agency Response Network Mutual <br />Aid Agreement", adopted February 28, 1994, is hereby rescinded as <br />of the operative date hereof. <br /> <br /> 3. This resolution shall be effective upon its adoption; <br />and shall be operative from and after July 1, 1994 or upon <br />execution of the agreement approved hereby by all parties <br />thereto, whichever later occurs. <br /> <br /> 2 12260 <br /> <br /> <br />
