DES:dj~ 07/11/94 (092/32) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/1/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12256 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) STREET SWEEPER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITIES OF RIDGECREST AND SAN BUENA- <br /> VENTURA BID #P93-2154 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cities of Ridgecrest and San Buena-Ventura Bid <br />9P93-2154 includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers <br />other public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from <br />G.C.S. Inc. of Sacramento, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the Cities of Ridgecrest and <br />San Buena-Ventura conforms to the requirements of Redwood City <br />Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) Street Sweeper from G.C.S. Inc. pursuant to the <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision of the Cities of Ridgecrest and <br /> <br />San Buena-Ventura Bid 993-2154; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) Street <br />Sweeper from G.C.S. Inc. for a total cost of Ninety-five Thousand <br />Nine Hundred Twenty-three and 57/100 Dollars ($95,923.57) <br /> <br /> <br />
