I 0 R I G I N A L ~ 8/1/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12255 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br /> VACUUM LEAF LOADER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of one (1) vacuum leaf loader; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nixon-Egli Equipment Co. of Hayward, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Nixon-Egli Equipment Co.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Nixon-Egli Equipment Co. for the sale of one <br />(1) vacuum leaf loader to the City of Redwood City in the amount <br />of Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-eight and 06/100 <br />Dollars ($17,898.06) in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated June 8, 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to <br />solicitation for bids without advertisement for said equipment. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Nixon-Egli Equipment Co. is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br />approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
