EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE CONSULTANT shall perform the following tasks: Task 1. Initiate Project and Prepare Notice of Preparation 1.1 Initiate Proiect. CONSULTANT shall coordinate with City Engineering and Planning Staff and other team members to obtain the most recent project files and outline tasks for analysis of alternatives. 1.2 Prepare Notice of Preparation (NOP). CONSULTANT shall prepare a NOP as required by CEQA Guidelines Section 15082. The NOP will include a brief project description, the location of the project, a map of the project site, and a summary of the findings of the Initial Study. The NOP will contain a link to the IS/MND on the City's web site for reference. CONSULTANT will provide the City with an electronic Word version of the NOP for circulation Task 2. Prepare Draft EIR 2.1 Administrative Draft EIR CONSULTANT shall prepare the administrative draft EIR. The EIR will include the following sections: I. Introduction II. Summary III. Project Description IV. Aesthetic Impact Analysis V. Cumulative Impact Analysis VI. Alternatives VII.Effects Found not to be Significant VIII. References Appendices The text of the project description will be supported with site plans, maps, graphics and pictures as appropriate. The CONSULTANT, through its sub-consultant, Callander Associates, will update the Conceptual Landscaping Plan to reflect the following: • Moving the water tank within the site. • Indicating on the plan which trees would be removed and calculating the required oak tree mitigation plantings.
