EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE The City of Redwood City (the City) is in the process of preparing an EIR for the California Water Tank and Pump Station Project. The City is studying, under the 2"d Contract Amendment, an alternative location within the proposed site called the Hillside Alternative to build the water tank and pump station. This requires additional geotechnical exploration in the location of the Hillside Alternative and seismic modeling, the development of a conceptual site plan and engineering design information, the preparation of visual simulations, and additional tree survey work. This design information have been incorporated into the (2"d)ADEIR. This budget amendment focuses on the preparation of a 3'" ADEIR and incorporates budget overruns in Tasks 2 and 6 of the current contract. This scope of work includes one additional meeting held on March 8, 2016, the preparation of a 3�'� /Final ADEIR, response to City comments, preparation of a screen check document, preparation of the Draft EIR for public review and project management time. Once preparation of the ADEIR is complete, the remaining tasks in the contract would be covered under the 1 st Contract Amendment of June 2014 (Phases 3— 7 of the current contract). Phase 2.1. Prepare 3nd Administrative Draft EIR (Phase 2 in Current Contract) MIG�TRA (Consultant) will revise the ADEIR to reflect City direction given at the March 8�' meeting. This will require reviewing and revising all chapters of the focused EIR, with substantial work in the aesthetics and alternatives chapters. Consultant will also create a new geology chapter in order to provide more readily accessible analysis of the geology issues associated with the project. Consultant's budget request includes printing costs of the ADEIR and additional expense estimates to cover the current projected printing cost of the 10 copies ($60/copy) of the DEIR. Phase 2.2. Prepare Public Draft EIR (Phase 2 in Current Contract) MIG�TRA will respond to City comment on the 3'"ADEIR, provide a screen check Draft EIR and prepare the Draft EIR for pubic circulation. Phase 5. March 8 Meeting with City Staff(Phase 5 in Current Contract) MIG�TRA staff Barbara Beard, Director of Environmental Analysis and Paula Hartman, Principal attended a meeting at the City do discuss the strategy and approach of the EIR. This meeting is not in the current scope of work. Therefore, the Consultant included preparation time and time to attend the meeting in this budget request. This task would fall under Phase 5 Meeting & Hearings in our current contract. As an optional task the Consultant has included 5 hours of Senior Project Manager time to attend a Planning Commission Study Session should one be held (preparation, travel and meeting time).
