�RIGINAI AGREEMENT R. E. Broocker Co., Inc. Painting Contractor T IS AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the� day of , 2012, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter � and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and R. E. Broocker Co., Inc. ("Contractor"). RECITALS A. City requires Contractor's services. B. Contractor has the necessary experience in aquatic maintenance and demolition services. C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion. D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to perform such work. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: Complete Exterior Painting of 23-Unit Apartment Building at 1306 Main Street, Redwood City The work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Scope of Work pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount of Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($14,400.00) computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated May 28, 2012 which accepted Proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. 3. Standard of Performance.
