8.A. - Page 250
REDEV-._.,..... .
From; Johanderholm@comcast.net
Sen#: Tuesday,June 19, 2012 1:23 M
To: GRP-Planning Commissioners
Cc: GRP-City Council
Subject: Finger Avene Project
Dear Members of the Plannin Commission,
unfortunately I am canable to attend toRight's meeting but my concern is still the same — too many
large homes or too small lots. I read the book you maiied me and find that no matter what the
objections to the project, yau wil! probably approve i# anyway since nine new homes will generate
more tax reerue than fewer. I think fhat a maxfmum of six or seven homes on those lots would fi#
better in#o the neighborhood and would allow the builder to build further from the creek, increase the
lot sizes, set twa homes further back from the street and perhaps permit a bit more parking within the
stabdivision.
I think the parking is a major prolem. Een though the houses have two garages, mast people put
one car into #he garage arrd use the other space for storage, etc. if there are teenagers in the family
with own cars they will park on Finger Ave and create a parking Iot on the s#reet.
As I wrote to you before, the whole project as presently planned is incompatable with the
neighborhood.
Sincerely, Johanna Anderholm, 128 F#nger Ae.
