Bxamples af how the Finger Avenue Project signiflcant�y degrades the aesthetfcs of our neigh�orhood are: + Constructian af two homes with rvide two-story t'acades set back the minitnum allowable distance from the streeG Ti�ere are no houses that large set that cinse to t�e sC�eet anywhere in aur neighborhood. ■ Nowhere else on�inger Avenue are homes this targe piaced on lots thfs sma�i, • All af the homes are of similar size and all two-story,as opposed to the mix af home sizes ar�d heights that are representative of the north side oF�inger Avenue, • Mast of these nine homes will be viewable fram the public street.There is little open space aRd the homes are anly set hack a small distance from the narrow that serves then�(some from 3ft-6tt from the alleyway.) Nowhere in our neighbarhood are houses situated in this fashion. • A development this densely packe�is incompatible with the presence oF�arge mature krees on the site.The eventual loss of Chese trees will be irrerrersibEe. • The breakup of the north s:de of Finger Ave,by creating two new intersectfor�s.The narrow alleyway b�ilt For the development faiRs to i»tegrate with Finger Avenue by nat having a sidewa�k or planting strip against the roadway. • 7'he one-way alleyway wllt wequire street signs an�inger Arre to direct trafflc, further eampromesing the character nf the narth side af the street. The overaq mass and scale af this developrreent is completely out of place in nur nei�hborhood,out of character for the north side oF Finget Avenue and it will at�1y lead to Further degradation of the unique character and qualiCy of our street.
