8.A. - Page 345 Stat�ment on Fin�er Avenue Aesthet�cs 1 am a Finger Anenue resident or neighbor,who walks,bicycles ar otherwise enfoys the FiRger Avenue streetscape.I have seen the plans for khe McGawan nine-1ot aevelopment, and conclt�de that ik wtll substantially degrade the eat[sting visuai character and quality af the site and[ts sut�raund[ngs, W'hat is im}�artant aesthetically about my neighb4rhood is the semi-rural character oFthe north side of FingerAvenue,with many homes sek far back from the street.The appearance of large amounts of open space with mature,old growth trees,provides a striking hackdrop to the homes,The contrast between the narth side of Finger A�enue and its south side,w;th its many�uaint,early 2flsh cent�try hungalows and cott�ges,is something that's unique to Redwoad Cityan�treasured by its resid�nts.
